FSNS is a non-profit organization working to improve the lives of vulnerable families in the western and Nyanza regions of Kenya. Our mission is to promote food security and improve livelihoods by supporting families with sustainable income-generating projects and farming assistance.
In addition to our work in food security, FSNS is committed to providing education support for orphans, helping ensure that every child has the opportunity to learn, grow, and build a better future.

Executive summary
Food and nutrition security refers to a situation where all people have physical and economic access to sufficient,safe and Nutritious food to meet their dietary needs.currently over 10 million people in Kenya suffer from chronic food insecurity and poor nutrition and between two and four million people require emergency food assistance at any given time.
30% of Kenyas children are classified as undernourished
28% of children under 5 years are stunted
1.8% are wasted
10.6% are underweight
